How to Connect Salesforce to Von

This guide will walk you through connecting your Salesforce account to Von for revenue intelligence and data analysis.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure you have the following Salesforce permissions enabled:

Required Permissions:

  1. API Enabled - Allows Von to connect to your Salesforce instance

  2. Read Access to Salesforce objects you want Von to analyze, including:

    • Accounts

    • Opportunities

    • Contacts

    • Leads

    • Users & Roles

    • Activities (Tasks & Events)

    • Campaigns & Campaign Members

    • Products & Opportunity Line Items

    • Any custom objects relevant to your revenue operations

Note: If you don't have these permissions, contact your Salesforce administrator to request access via a Permission Set or Profile update.

Step-by-Step Integration Guide

Step 1: Access Von

  1. Create your Von account at https://app.vonlabs.ai/

Step 2: Open Settings

  1. Look for the integrations section

Step 3: Connect Salesforce

  1. Click the "Connect SFDC" button

  2. You will be redirected to Salesforce
    ​


Step 4: Authorize the Connection

  1. Log in to your Salesforce account (if not already logged in)

  2. Review the permissions Von is requesting

  3. Click "Allow" to approve the integration

  4. You will be redirected back to Von

Step 5: Verify Connection

Once redirected back to Von, you should see:

  • A confirmation message indicating successful integration

  • Your Salesforce instance listed as connected

What Happens After Connection:

Von backs up data from your Salesforce to provide fast, intelligent responses to your queries. We store data from common objects including Accounts, Opportunities, Contacts, Leads, Activities, and other objects you've granted access to. This local backup ensures Von can respond quickly without repeated API calls to Salesforce.
