What is it?

A stuck in stage workflow uses a condition based on the object stage as the principal trigger for an alert.

When to use it?

Stuck in stage workflows are most often used to bring visibility to opportunities or cases that have remained in a stage longer than typical or expected.

How is it set up?

Additional Information

  • The clock for stuck in stage workflows starts when the workflow is saved.

    Ex: If an opportunity has already been in discovery 10 days when a stuck in stage workflow with a time in stage threshold of 15 days is created, the workflow will fire once the opportunity has been in discovery for 25 days (15 days after the workflow was created).
