The approvals feature enables the routing of approval requests via slack for any active, standard approval process that exists in SFDC.

Moving approval notifications to slack from email can increase the speed with which approvers see and act on approval requests.
How is it set up?

The approvals feature supports standard approval processes. To create slack notifications for an approval process built using a CPQ package, leverage the "On Create/ Update" workflow alert type.
If you are routing approval requests to a channel, but sure to tag the approver in the opening message to ensure the approver knows which alerts require their attention.
