So you just got added to a Deal Room - read on to learn how to use deal rooms to drive deal execution.

Deal Rooms bring together the right people at the right time in a dedicated slack channel creating a space for visibility, collaboration, and driving activity.

Well….how does it do that? 🤔

Visibility 🔍

Deal Rooms serve as dedicated space for key updates related to the opportunity or account so all relevant stakeholders can see what’s going on.

Collaboration 💥

Because the right people are automatically invited to the Deal Room, updates can trigger real time conversations that lead to actionable outcomes.

Driving Activity: 📈

Workflows can trigger and reinforce best practices to keep the deal on track!

Ok…..so how do I use it?

Individual contributors Best Practices

  • Keeping records up to date (ex- Close Date, Next Steps, Logging Activity, etc.) so that information can flow to the Deal Rooms.

  • Think of Deal Rooms as the narrative for this opportunity/account. Anyone at your company can go back and reference conversations.

Why do I care?

  • Reduced the number of individual messages you have to send to keep everyone informed.

  • Don’t sell alone. Giving better visibility for the deals you are working will allow others to share their network and resources to drive a successful outcome.

Leadership Best Practices

  • Use Deal Room to stay up to date on activity related to key deals or accounts.

  • If you have a question of a status or next steps of a deal, ask it in the Deal Room to keep everyone in the loop.

  • Watch for coaching opportunities and opportunities to connect your ICs to resources based on the information you see in the Deal Room.

    • Why do you care about this? There are no more surprises. You can have a pulse on the health of a deal/account without much effort served to you.

    • Hold your reps accountable- You don’t have to search for context for a deal, you can search the deal room.
