This article will guide you through the process of integrating Gong with Rattle and have you pulling out meaningful data from your Gong meetings for Rattle Wizard and Rattle AI features

Prerequisites

You need to have a Gong account profile with the Technical administrator's permission.

To check if you have this permission, navigate to your profile on the Gong web application > Company settings > Team members > Click on your name.

Check with your Gong Business Admin for access, if you don't have this permission.

Gong Technical administrator permissions are only required for Rattle Super Admins or Admins. After an Admin completes the integration, all other Members will have the organizational Gong accounts set up with their Rattle automatically.

Integrating with Rattle:

Once you have the required permissions, two clicks are all it takes to integrate Gong.

For Rattle Wizard:

  1. Magic Link or Request Email: When the user shares a magic link or a request email, the admin can click on integrate
    โ€‹

  2. If you selected "Connect" during onboarding and have the necessary permissions for Gong, simply log in as you normally would when signing up

For Rattle AI features

  • Navigate to the Integrations section on the left side of your Rattle app.

  • Click the Integrate button next to the Gong logo. You will be redirected to the Gong instance open in your browser and asked for access. Click Allow.

  • Gong is now integrated with your Rattle account.

  • To delete Gong, click Remove.

Note: If a Super Admin removes their Gong integration, it will also be disconnected for all members of the organization with Rattle, potentially impacting existing workflows.

Data security:

Rattle uses OAUTH 2.0 for authorization and operates solely as a conduit. We do not store customer data from Salesforce, Slack, Google Calendar, Gong, or any other CRM or collaborative tool integrated with Rattle, for any account.
