This article will tell you how to create a Rattle account through your organization's Slack.

Pre-requisites

An organization Slack email linked to your company's Slack account. Rattle only supports organizational email IDs. eg: @gmail or @outlook are not supported

Let's create a Rattle account

A team member has sent you an invite to join Rattle, through your Slack

  1. A team member invited to Rattle will receive a Slack message inviting them to create an account with Rattle. This link is only active for 72 hours. The user should contact their Rattle admin to resend the link if the link expires.

  2. After clicking the Sign Up button, the user will be directed to set up their Rattle Account. The user’s name, email, and company will all be populated by default. A user will only need to create a password. Welcome to Rattle!

Integrating Salesforce for a member user

After creating their account, the user will be routed to the Rattle integration page.

  • Users will see an Integrate button for Salesforce, with the Superadmin's Salesforce instance being recommended by default.

  • The user's Slack is already integrated with Rattle once they accept the invite.

4. When integrating with Salesforce, the user will be prompted to allow Rattle certain permissions. The user should allow this access.

That's it, you're ready to create Rattle's now!
