The Google Calendar (GCal) Integration enables three amazing features on your Rattle account.
Meeting DMs: Get friendly alerts before/after meetings with useful info and buttons to update records. Perfect for keeping things organized when team members might forget to update opportunities or add important details.
Auto Contact Creation: Let Rattle automatically create contact records for new folks in your meetings. It's like having a personal assistant – it even enriches the info with Clearbit!
Auto Event Creation: No need to double-enter meetings in GCal and SFDC. Rattle can create event records for you, making your life easier, especially if your team has activity goals.
To use this feature, users must set up a Salesforce integration for their Rattle account. This can be a personal integration or shared access through a Super Admin's account.
Steps to integrate
We have a simple OAuth integration that takes less than a minute to get set up.
Login to your Rattle account at https://app.gorattle.com
Navigate to the Integrations tab, located on the main menu on the left of the page.
Click the Integrate button next to the Google Calendar logo.
You will be redirected to the Google Calendar permissions modal. Click Allow.
That's it! You've connected GCal to Rattle.
Additional Information:
Shared access:
When the Rattle Super Admin integrates their Google Calendar, any new user signing up will have Google Calendar integration automatically enabled.
If you have members invited before the Super Admin integrates their Google Calendar, reach out to your CSM to explore how to integrate for members retroactively.
Tip: Identify team members with GCal integration by spotting the calendar icon next to their name on the Settings > Teams page.
