With the number of notifications being sent to Public Channels, Group DMs and Direct Messages - it can be difficult to keep track of notifications that have been actioned or acknowledged. This is why we've added the "Acknowledge" Button to our Workflows!
What is it?
The "Acknowledge" Button is an additional way for users to track which notifications they have actioned or viewed, and a way for managers to quickly view notifications that need action.
How is it set up?
Once you've created your Rattle Workflow conditions, scroll to "Message buttons" > "Add button" > Under "Select Button type," select "Acknowledge button." The "Button text" will automate to "Acknowledge," but feel to update text to what makes sense for your organization.
See video below to see how to add it into your Rattle Workflow:
When to use it?
Sending multiple notifications to a public channel can result in recipients overlooking important messages and may cause uncertainty to which notifications were actioned/noticed. Add this Acknowledge Button when you want to ensure process adherence for certain Rattle notifications.
Best Practices:
Demo with your team once you've added the Acknowledge Button to notifications, so they are aware of your expectations to utilize it.
Add your call to action in your opening message, so users have a clear understanding of the button being there and what they should do with it.
