Rattle offers extensive support for Single Sign-On (SSO) across a variety of Identity Providers (IdP) via WorkOS. Detailed, step-by-step instructions for configuring each IdP are provided through the WorkOS integration.

Regardless of your chosen IdP, this guide will walk you through the entire process.

Okta, Azure, and Google OAuth are the most widely used. Please take a look at the entire list here.

Setting up your organization SSO

Ask your Rattle liaison to enable single sign-on (SSO) for your organization, and specify which IdP you use. Then follow the steps below:

  1. Login to your Rattle account.

  2. In a separate tab, go to the link https://app.gorattle.com/connect/sso.

  3. You will be directed to a screen similar to the one shown below. Click the Configure SSO button.

  4. This will direct you to the WorkOS page. Click to select your Identity provider from the list.

  5. The next screen provides you with step-by-step instructions on configuring your SSO from within your Identity Provider's dashboard.

If you're using Okta, you will be asked to input the SSO URL and Audience URI in your IdP dashboard, those credentials will also be provided in your WorkOS instructions. Your Identity Provider might request an SSL certificate, and you can locate this certificate within the IdP system.

  6. After you've filled in the URL, key, and certificate, click Continue to Next Step on your IdP portal, and complete the confirmation step.

  7. Navigate back to https://app.gorattle.com/connect/sso and check the OktaSAML (your Identity Provider) state, if it's active you'll be able to log in via SSO.
