The Outreach integration allows users to add records to sequences directly from a Rattle alert in their Slack or MS Teams.
This article will tell you how to integrate your Outreach instance with Rattle, and also how to map fields between Salesforce and Outreach, to never miss out on a prospect!
Methods to integrate
There are two ways users can integrate Outreach with Rattle:
Through their Super Admin's integration:
Users will only have access to their SA's sequences
Any update made by them through a Rattle alert on Outreach, will be attributed to their SA
Member's integrating their personal Outreach account (recommended method)
When individual users integrate their personal Outreach accounts with Rattle, they can only see and add prospects to sequences that they have permission to access in Outreach.
Steps to integrate and set up Outreach
All it takes is two steps to integrate! Here's how:
Navigate to the Integrations tab of your Rattle account.
Scroll down till you see the Outreach logo, and click Integrate.
Mapping Outreach fields to Salesforce objects
Once integrated, a modal will slide in from the right, allowing you to link Outreach fields with Salesforce fields.
This mapping ensures that new prospects created within Salesforce are automatically mirrored in Outreach and made available for sequencing.
Connections can only be established between Lead or Contact objects within Salesforce.

A note on Sequence selection:
There are 2 selections to view sequences:
Sequences created by you (user) - As the name says, this only lists sequences created by you
Sequences created by other users (within Outreach) - This shows sequences made by other users in your Outreach account that you can access.
Impact of integration sequence settings
Users can use Outreach in their workflows by adding the 'Sync with Outreach', and 'Link' buttons. When a user clicks the 'Sync with Outreach' button, they will see:
When utilizing the SA's integration, users will view all sequences crafted by the SA or those accessible to the SA on Outreach.
In the case of a personal Outreach integration, users will see a sequence list based on their personal preferences. This includes sequences created by them or all sequences they can access within Outreach.
It's important to note that the workflow owner/creator does not influence the displayed list of sequences.
