This article will tell you:

Integrating Gainsight with Rattle

You'll need two pieces of information to establish a connection between Gainsight and Rattle.

Creating a Gainsight API

  1. Log in to your Gainsight instance.

  2. Using the main menu at the left of the page, navigate to Administration > Integration > Connectors 2.0 OR use the Search bar to find Connectors 2.0.

  3. You're now on the Connectors page. Click on the blue Create Connection button at the top right of the page.

  4. Select Gainsight API from the dropdown menu on the modal, then click Generate Access Key.

  5. A modal will pop up displaying the connection details, and the Access key.

If you ever need to reference the key again, click on the three dots at the top left of the Gainsight API modal, and click Edit Connection.

Finding your Gainsight subdomain

  1. Log into your Gainsight instance, to find your organization's subdomain.

  2. The subdomain is the text that precedes .gainsightcloud.com in the URL.

Integrating Gainsight with Rattle

  1. Go to the Integrations page (Main menu > Integrations), and click on the Integrate button at the left of the Gainsight logo.

  2. You'll see a modal open up, asking you to fill in your Gainsight subdomain and Access key. Fill them in and click Submit.

That’s it! You are ready to begin building rattles for Gainsight!

Each user will be required to integrate Gainsight. Not all Gainsight users can view the access key, so the Super Admin should be prepared to provide this to team members invited to integrate Gainsight.
