Now that you have your Deal Room configured, there are 4 Deal Room trigger actions to automate your Deal Room experience even more.

What are the Deal Room Trigger Actions?

  1. Add new recipients: Add new recipients to the Deal Room as the opportunity progresses through stages. (Eg: At the scoping stage add the solutions engineer to the Deal Room. At the closed won add the customer success manager for the account).

  2. Remove recipients: Remove recipients once their stage of involvement is completed. (eg: Remove the SDR once the opportunity has been qualified and the demo is complete.)

  3. Rename channel: Rename the Deal Room at various stages of the customer lifecycle (Eg: At closed won, rename the channel from "Dealroom-[Opportunity]" to "Won-dealroom-[Opportunity]" or "[Account]-channel"

  4. Archive channel: Auto archive the Deal Room when it will no longer be used (Ex. At Closed-Lost) For this example - the Deal Room can still be searched and users can still read through notes.

How to configure Deal Room Triggers

  1. The final section in Creating a Deal Room Workflow is the Trigger actions.

2. First, click on "Add action"

3. From the dropdown, choose which action you would like to configure.

In this example, I'll walk through adding new recipients: Adding a Solutions Consulting at Sales Qualified.

4. In the recipient section, you can select dynamic user fields from SFDC or hard-coded Slack users. Here, I'll be choosing the Solutions Consultant user role.

5. Next, click on "Add condition group" to configure when this user will be added.

6. Add as many new recipients as you may need or other trigger actions!

7. Click 'Save'. You've now set up the deal rooms feature. Let the collaboration begin!
