Views are different tables that a user can build inside a Board, and help you to focus on specific criteria from large data sets.
Types of views
Private view - Visible and can be edited only by you.
Public view - Can be accessed and edited by anyone with this link.
Digest - Send a regular alert to your reps that contains all the records that need their attention. Reps can then view those records on Board and update the required fields in a single go. Learn more here.
Without a Salesforce integration, you can see views but not edit them.
Navigating between views
The name of the selected view is visible at the top left of your screen.
A single Board can have multiple ‘views’.
Click on the drop down menu on the top right corner to switch between views.
Creating views
Click on the ‘+’ icon at the top left of the screen.
Enter a name for your view.
Choose if you want your view to be Public or Private.
A ‘Public view’ is visible to all users of the organization by default. Users can also share a link.
Sharing a view
Only Public views can be shared with the users.
Click on the ‘Share’ button on the top right.
Click on ‘Copy link’ and then share as needed.
Deleting and renaming a view
A user cannot edit or delete a view that they have not created. They can only duplicate it.
Hover on a view from the drop-down menu to see the delete or rename icons.
You will need to duplicate a public view if you want to edit it.
